Kiehl’s Partners with Pharrell Williams to Present Eco-Friendly Bionic Yarn Bags

American rap star Pharrell Williams has partnered with Kiehl’s to present ecologically-friendly bags made of bionic yarn, hypebeast.com reports.

The bags are made by Bionic Yarn company owned by Williams.  According to the brand, the bags are produced from recycled plastic material entitled ‘bionic yarn’. To date, there are only 10 pieces available in France.

The bag was launched on the occasion of the Earth Day that was celebrated April 22 to raise public awareness of such issue as recycling of plastic waste.

Commenting on the launch of the eco-bag, Cheryl Vitali, General Manager of Kiehl’s Global, said, «At Kiehl’s we are proud to support organizations that make a real difference in local communities. Our cooperation with Bionic Yarn that recently started in New York City and is already working in the whole world, has taught us a thousand ways inventive ways of plastic recyclings, and has showed us that it is possible to do almost anything with Kiehl’s packaging. «
