Louis Vuitton Develops the Travelling Theme in a New Campaign

Louis Vuitton, the brand which releases travel guides on a regular basis, packing guidelines and themed collections, seems to be a perfect “travel companion.” The fashion brand is now releasing a new campaign to support the “the art of travel” theme—the new promotion featuring model Arizona Muse, is to launch in mid-November.

According to WWD, the campaign dubbed “l’Invitation au voyage” in French, or “Invitation to Travel” in English will “be rendered in print, film and digital versions.” The promotion, which starts in the beginning of the Christmas ad season, is sure to inspire consumers to embark on an adventurous trip, to some well-known destination or to places less travelled. To celebrate one of the most celebrated global landmarks, the new Louis Vuitton’s campaign was shot at the Louvre Museum in Paris in September by recognized photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Last month, Louis Vuitton released a new set of travel guide books, inviting people to discover more about Paris, Tokyo, New York and San Francisco. In summer 2012 , the brand hosted an extraordinary exhibit entitled Louis Vuitton Art of Travel at the first Louis Vuitton Maison in China—the exhibition was paying tribute to “the golden age of rail travel.” Watch the virtual tour of the exhibit below.
