Martini has announced the winner the Martini Royale Casting. 27-years old Bárbara González from Pamplona, Spain will join the celebrity roster of Martini stars such as Charlize Theron, Naomi Campbell and Monica Bellucci.

Bárbara, who has competed forSpainat the Sydney and Beijing Olympic Games as a rhythmic gymnast, is now dreams to become an actress. Bárbara will receive €150,000, 12 pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes and 12 designer outfits from my-wardrobe.com. Her first task will be to star in a new advertising campaign for Martini Italian Sparkling Wines which will air in December 2012. She will also be the brand’s face at the Martini 150th anniversary celebrations throughout 2013.
The Martini Royale Casting guided by Christian Louboutin was a global search for a woman who would best suit the brand’s philosophy—Luck Is an Attitude. The search campaign ran in 23 countries and more than 3,500 women applied, while only 28 semi-finalists were selected to compete in a series of challenging tasks inIbiza in August.
These challenges were filmed as part of an entertainment series shown on facebook.com/MARTINI for users to vote for their four favorites to travel to Milan for the final competition. Additionally, three ‘wildcards’ were chosen to by Martini and its an international judging panel consisting of Christian Louboutin, my-wardrobe.com founder Sarah Curran, and Martini Global Category Director, Arnaud Meysselle.
The seven finalists visited the home of Martini in the town of Pessione near Turin to find out more about the history of Martini.
