The 28-years old Ukraine-born talent will appear in its spring fashion campaign, shot by acclaimed photographer Mikael Jansson that will feature in international editions of Elle, Vogue and Madame Figaro. The campaign kicks off in China on January 15, and will be followed by publications in Italy, Russia and France.

In the US the campaign is to debut in The New York Times on January 29. Later the ads will appear in various American magazines, including Vanity Fair and Harper’s Bazaar, says WWD.

“Mila Kunis is a very talented young actress; she embodies the true modern woman. Her performance in ‘Black Swan’ was remarkable. She is very gifted,” said Delphine Arnault, deputy general manager at Dior, lauding Kunis’ youthful energy. “We are looking forward to a long relationship with her.”

Mila Kunis, who was one of the most successful magazine cover stars in 2011, will feature in the new Dior ads dressed mostly in black and with the latest versions of the Miss Dior handbag.

Kunis won a Premio Marcello Mastroianni award for best young actor or actress at the 67th Venice International Film Festival where the ballet-themed psychological Darren Aronofsky film premiered in 2010.

Previously, Dior signed other acclaimed actresses to feature in its ads including Oscar winner Marion Cotillard who appeared in Lady Dior bag ads since 2008.

Mila Kunis is said to be invited to all Dior worldwide events throughout 2012, but her attendance would depend on her personal schedule.

Another ‘Black Swan’ star, Natalie Portman, also featured in Miss Dior Cherie commercial last year.
