Nike continues its Basketball Never Stops campaign with the commercial titled Paint the Town, featuring Kevin Durant or KD. The spot that follows the ‘Spotlight’ video is also produced by Wieden + Kennedy Portland and Park Pictures (Los Angeles/New York) and directed by Lance Acord.

KD who plays around the US and in China has been known to pick up a game with anyone at anytime. In this spot he plays with various groups including local seniors, playing one-on-one with artist and friend J. Cole. He even plays with truckers at a nearby gas station rest stop.
Set to the song ‘Good Times’ by iconic singer Sam Cooke, Paint the Town makes an impression of comfortable and friendly neighborhood environment rather than aggressive sport spot showcasing the game of basketball in a new way.
The Basketball Never Stops social campaign celebrates basketball players at all levels and Nike’s contribution to the game. Nike has created a hub which offers basketball content and enables basketball players and fans to submit and tag content that shows how basketball never stops in their life. Users can also participate on Facebook or tag their posts on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, or Instagram with #BasketballNeverStops.
