Nokia Music has also teamed up with AT&T and Green Day band to promote the band’s new album Uno. Green Day will perform an exclusive concert and provide exclusive playlists to Nokia Music for AT&T consumers.

Lumia 900 or Nokia Lumia 710 owners can stream music from a suite of over 150 exclusive playlists that are constantly kept up to date by an expert team of established American musicologists. Artists such as Lana Del Rey, Lady Gaga and Rihanna also create their own playlists to share with fans.

Additionally, users can easily create their own personal soundtrack using tracks from a library of 17 million of songs, which considers favorite music of every user. And what is important, it’s not necessary to be online to listen to the music. The service is completely advertisement-free, and requires no registration or subscription.

Consumers are offered music of any genres—«from underground Detroit house tracks to New York Philharmonic favorites», as the company’s press-release states.

Through this service consumers can also use Nokia Music’s ‘Gig Finder’, which functions like Foursquare and locates a consumer’s position as well as pinpoints live concerts, gigs and shows taking place in their local area.

«The USA is the most vibrant and competitive digital music market in the world — by a wide margin. We have worked extra hard to ensure our service meets the expectations of the demanding, active and inspired music fans in the USA. I would like to challenge everyone to try Nokia Music and see just how easy and enjoyable the service is to use,» says Jyrki Rosenberg, VP of Entertainment at Nokia.

The company also unveiled new Lumia accessories, a headset and a speaker.
