Yesterday Absolut Vodka unveiled the results of its creative collaboration with Krink, an award-winning New York based artist, and Exit magazine. Krink was commissioned by the global vodka brand to create individual custom designed Absolut limited edition bottles. Each of the 70cl bottle should be customized in a unique way. So far, the artist has finished working on 15 of them and added his signature in KRINK ink, in striking black, silver and white.

These days, November 16 through 20, Absolut Glimmer, a recently unveiled vodka is sponsoring an unprecendented event throughout the major social media popular with Latin Americans.

The show dubbed Escreva com a Luz (‘Light Writing’) runs on Twitter and Facebook every night from 9 till 10 pm. The contest organizers encourage all the consumers to come up with the right words for the light writing.

Last year, Absolut Vodka announced the opening of the all season exhibit devoted to the legendary brand, and now it has released a trailer previewing the upcoming launch. For its 25-year long history of art collaborations, the brand teamed up with a range of visual artists from around the globe—more than 800 of their masterpieces focused on and inspired by Absolut will be gathered and unveiled in a year.

Last weekend, Absolut Vodka, probably the most art-inspired alcohol drink of all ages, invited the fans of refined vodka cocktails and art to visit its temporary creative studio space in London to discuss extravagant and somewhat shocking art pieces and meet people, who created them. The Absolut Artists’ Salon on Portland Place was open for two days, October 16-17, inviting everybody interested to come and drink free Absolut cocktails, take part in hourly workshops and get deep into the world of unconventional art, as well join the informal conversation about the industry and the way the participating artists create their unique visual pieces.

Last night, on 18 October, it was “sneak” premièred at a spectacular release party at Villa L’Abri in Cannes—Absolut Watkins, the smashing new limited edition flavour from Absolut, created exclusively for global travellers, reflecting all of the excitement, glamour and star quality of the globetrotting fashion world. Absolut Watkins will be launched throughout the global duty free/travel retail market in January 2011.

In September, Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport saw the premiere of Absolut Glimmer—the new, spectacularly exciting and utterly glamorous limited edition gift pack bottle from the world’s leading premium vodka brand. Absolut Glimmer follows in the prestigious footsteps of previous groundbreaking holiday season limited edition gift packs such as Absolut Bling Bling, Absolut Disco, In an Absolut World Every Night Is a Masquerade, and Absolut Rock Edition. The global launch of about 5 million bottles of Absolut Glimmer will be rolled out in both off- and on-trade as well as duty free/travel retail markets worldwide through October in a massive campaign.

Absolut Vodka, which is well-known for its creative collaborations in Canada as well as around the globe, arranged a new event,  Absolut St.Art, which took art outdoors, or, more preciously, to the upper sections of the nine-storey garage, turning the auto parking space in Toronto into an art gallery and an awesome party venue. Absolut teamed up with Vision|Co, which helped arrange the whole thing literally on the top level.

Absolut has eventually presented its much anticipated short web video titled “Lemon Drop” in the style, which takes us back to the B-movies of 70-s with its simple plot and retro environment. The film, which was premiered yesterday, September 7, was announced in summer through a special tab created on the brand’s Facebook page to promote the launch and feature trailers.

Absolut 100 is unveiling luxurious and exclusive limited edition gift bottles released just in time for Father’s Day in Brazil. The iconic alcohol brand, known for its great collaborations with recognized and emerging artists, has teamed together with Pedro Brando, Stone Bonker and Optica Ventura to develop a new limited edition line of black bottles to be sold exclusively in São Paulo.
