For the second consecutive year, Badoit, the Danone France carbonated water brand, has collaborated with students of École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs to develop a new limited edition line of the festive Christmas bottle. Following the «Avec Badoit, l’Art s’invite à table!» (With Badit, Art Invites Itself to the Table») slogan, this fall 40 participants came up with their concepts of the Badoit Green (Vert) and Badoit Red (Rouge) bottles to be on sale during the upcoming Noël season.

Diet Coke Great Britain is joining forces with cult celebrity jewellery designer Johnny Rocket, and the world’s best department store Selfridges, to bring the limited edition ‘Diet Coke Crystal Collection’ made with Swarovski Elements. In a fashion first, Diet Coke fans and fashionistas alike will be able to create their own bespoke crystal bottle in Johnny’s pop up workshop—‘the Diet Coke Crystal Customisation Boudoir’ at Selfridges’ London flagship store this October.

In September, Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport saw the premiere of Absolut Glimmer—the new, spectacularly exciting and utterly glamorous limited edition gift pack bottle from the world’s leading premium vodka brand. Absolut Glimmer follows in the prestigious footsteps of previous groundbreaking holiday season limited edition gift packs such as Absolut Bling Bling, Absolut Disco, In an Absolut World Every Night Is a Masquerade, and Absolut Rock Edition. The global launch of about 5 million bottles of Absolut Glimmer will be rolled out in both off- and on-trade as well as duty free/travel retail markets worldwide through October in a massive campaign.

Brown Forman announced the launch of its newly designed Herradura Tequila bottle that captures the essence and heritage of the brand name. In 2009, Brown Forman hired Hirst Pacific Ltd to assist in redesigning the bottle. The mission for Kenneth Hirst, president of Hirst Pacific Ltd, was to work in conjunction with the Brown Forman design team to develop a new Herradura bottle that would unify Herradura’s global markets, replacing the round bottle in Mexico and the square bottle in the USA.
