The World Cup is in full swing and Adidas is challenging golf and football fans to capture their best ‘keepy uppy’ effort on video. As and official sponsor of FIFA World Cup 2010, Adidas has launched the “TOUR 360 Keepy Uppy Challenge” where consumers upload videos of family, friends or themselves kicking or heading a soccer ball in the air as many times in succession as possible.
The Linux Foundation, the nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of Linux, announced the winning design in its Linux.com Store T-shirt Design Contest, «The People’s Product.» The design won by a large margin with 57 percent (4,501) of all votes cast, with the other five finalists sharing 43 percent of the vote among them.
With FIFA World Cup 2010 due to kick off in a couple of days, Adidas has launched a new advertising campaign “The Quest” premiering with a television commercial with the likeness of a movie trailer. The interactive campaign is an extension of the 2009 Adidas campaign “Spark” that featured superstar footballers Lionel Messi and Zinedine Zidane.
