Walls of buildings in the city area can be perfect canvas for modern artwork—brands such as Stella Artois and Converse have already proved it with their large-scale projects. Smirnoff also joins the army of urban art wizards by unveiling a series of “painted by light” urban murals on buildings of São Paulo, Brazil. For the project developed by Wieden + Kennedy, the brand invited graffiti artists from Acidum Group to create their stunning artwork with blacklight-activated paint, which glows only at night.

Doodle 4 Google, an international creative contest for young artists to create their own Google doodles, this year was hosted in Russia for the first time. While the company’s headquarter chose a futuristic topic for the 2012 event («If I could travel in time, I’d visit…»), Google Russia gave the contest a rather patriotic twist having devoted it to the Russian authentic culture and history («My city. My country»). As it was announced yesterday, Pyotr Alekseyev, an 8-year-old schoolboy from Belgorod, named the winner.

Heineken teamed up with LA-based retail store Union LA and fashion designer Mark McNairy to create a new stunning product as part of the ongoing creative “Heineken 100” project. Together they have created a new  kelly green colorway for McNairy’s classic saddle shoe as part of the program, which mission is to champion “Men of the World,” visionaries and tastemakers.

Moleskine, the brand which helps you plan your life and put your thoughts down on paper, has released the 2013 collection of planners, which celebrate flamboyant shades. To support the launch of the new collection, the brand created a new vibrant stop-motion video, which celebrates activities such as lunch, piano lessons, camping trips and shopping, international flights and more and pays tribute to a joyful nature of the brand.
