Levi’s is supporting both recognized and aspiring performers through a range of projects focused on music. All year round, the brand arranges a number of gigs, releases new tracks under its Levi’s Pioneer Sessions project or launches online-broadcast performances by more or less popular indie musicians on its Facebook pages. Each month the jeanswear pioneer brings forth something new or extends the previously launched programs. This November, for example, it is returning Levi’s Unfamous Music Awards project, which celebrates the talented young musicians and gives them an opportunity to make it huge with a massive support from Levi’s.

Levi’s released the findings of a global study to better understand the challenges, expectations, goals and experiences Millennial women face around the world. The results show a surprising generational shift in life priorities and a need for a new, nontraditional form of mentorship. In response to these findings, the brand has launched ShapeWhatsToCome.com, a global online community where Millennial women around the world can connect with peers and mentors to shape their futures.

On the heels of the Levi’s® Print Workshop in San Francisco, the brand opened the second of its Levi’s Workshops in New York City on October 8. The Levi’s Photo Workshop, which will be opened for ten weeks, is serving as a community space, hosting creative production, engaging events and an inventive retail experience. Designed as a fully-functioning photography studio, the space features an array of vintage and modern photography resources that span the history of the craft.

To help community organizations become more sustainable, Levi Strauss & Co. launches a $100,000 denim insulation fund, an initiative designed to reuse unwanted denim while keeping it out of landfills. From printing workshops to photo classes—Levi’s is about to launch the next round of its “We Are All Workers” extensive campaign, which has been rolling out across the USA since June. For two months, from July 1 through August 28, the brand has been encouraging San Francisco-based creatives to come to one of its dedicated venues and dive into the process of creating unique prints and learning the secrets of the industry. Now, Levi’s is paying tribute to another iconic city of the US, New York, by opening The Levi’s Photo Workshop to  educate local emerging artists as well as collaborate with them.
