The Purina brand, which is more often associated with cat’s food, released a campaign to promote its nutrition mixtures for smaller animals such as rabbits, birds, hamsters, etc. The marketing initiative dubbed “Big Thoughts From Small Animals” was developed by Colle+McVoy—it includes a series of six short videos and promotion on the Purina’s Small Animal Food Facebook page.

Not only people watch television, pets do that to, but the content they see doesn’t usually tug at their heartstrings. Nestlé Purina, which last year released a first-ever movie shot by cats under its Friskies brand, now is about to launch a 23-second TV commercial designed especially for dogs in Austria this week after broadcasting it in Germany this summer. To create an advert for Beneful, the brand teamed up with pet behavior experts from the USA, who guided the production team, consulting on what sounds really can make the canines turn their faces to the screen.
The ‘before and after’ method is the best ones for proving that a product really delivers positive changes. Most frequently, this approach is employed in promotions for cosmetic lines and food brand—and the new campaign based on this approach is all about animals. Purina is inviting animal owners to tap into the 60-Day See the Difference Challenge, through which the pet food brand offers to see the positive difference of feeding animals with the brand’s products and then share the testimonials with public.
