Surprisingly enough, now the fastest growing social media platform is not Pinterest (as it used to be), but Twitter, as reported by GlobalWebIndex. According to the study conducted across the 31 markets, the micro blogging platform is gaining momentum now and getting more active users than other social media platforms—the site is followed by Facebook and Google+, respectively.

Facebook believes that analyzing the users’ activity on its platform can help determine who of the Facebookers might be thinking of committing a suicide. The social media giant has teamed up with Save.org (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) to study activity of suicide victims on the platform in the days before their deaths.

Facebook has announced Graph Search, which is designed to help users of the social network No.1 find information within the site. Facebook says it has over than 240 billion photos and more than a trillion connections, created by more than million of its users, and Graph Search is “a new way to navigate these connections and make them more useful.” The new tool, which was introduced on February 15, is now in beta and is available for a limited preview only in English.
