«The Haas Brothers for Versace» Home Collection Triumphs Hedonism and Honeycomb Style

The Italian fashion house Versace is unveiling a new collection of luxury furniture pieces in its new promotion, rolling across multiple channels. Acclaimed LA-based artists and designers Nikolas and Simon Haas have created a range of lavish Versace Home pieces for those who adore the opulent merge of gold and leather. The brand’s creative partnership has been described on Facebook page and Versace’s website that feature photos from the capsule collection’s launch and hi-res images of the pieces.

The Haas Brothers for Versace Home collection was presented in Milan and had been on display since April 9 through April 14—the event was held as part of Salone del Mobile. The high-end furniture pieces include two armchairs, a sofa, lamps, a futuristic throne (the «Donatella chair»), two tables and a bench, all designed with hedonism in mind. For the collection, the designers used a lot of polished brass hexagons and premium black leather upholstery and also decorated the furniture with additional elements including Versace’s logo, belts (in the “bondage” bench, which can be seen below) and more. Currently, the brand doesn’t share the prices of the new pieces, but apparently they will be high.

To celebrate the craftsmanship of The Haas Brothers for Versace Home collection, the brand tapped independent New York-based director Alexa Karolinski to direct the film that depicts how the honey-comb furniture were born. The 90-second video clip highlights every stitch, imprint and mold that became part of these pieces, uniting ultimate design creativity with hard work that included sculpting and painting, metal welding and more.
