Zoe Jackson, Head of Buying for Jme at Jamie Oliver Enterprises, Has Won the ‘Client of the Year 2011’ Award at the Blades Awards 2011

Last Thursday, 8th September, Lancaster London hosted the award ceremony for the pitch Awards: The Blades 2011. The winners were revealed in 4 categories: Advertising, Design, Digital and Media.

The Blades 2011, organised by Centaur Media back in 2010 and supported by its leading titles such as Pitch and Marketing Week, is known for being the only awards to be judged by clients, focusing solely on the creative execution of campaigns.

In the Design category, Zoe Jackson, Head of Buying for Jme at Jamie Oliver Enterprises, scooped the prestigious Client of the Year award for work with Pearlfisher on the Jme range.

Pearlfisher has worked with Zoe Jackson and the team at Jamie Oliver Enterprises for over two years, creating the award winning Jme lifestyle range. Jme, is a unique concept that transcends Jamie’s expertise in the kitchen into the home. Rather than design a typical consistently branded range of products for the kitchen and the home, Pearlfisher created an emotionally-driven brand architecture, and a flexible design approach. The Jme logo acts as an endorser stamp that is subtly applied to an eclectic rage of packaging styles.

Each piece is individually designed to best reflect the product, rather than follow specific brand guidelines. The Jme range has won numerous design awards, including a DBA Design Effectiveness Award.

Zoe Jackson comments “It’s great to be shortlisted for such a personal award, but to win is a very special honour. Pearlfisher have always been and continue to be an inspirational and innovative agency to work with. The Jme brand manages to touch all of Jamie Oliver’s values in such an intelligent and engaging way and without them we would not have realized the hugely successful brand we have today”.
