Apples Unveils a Range of New Products

On September 1, Apple® unveiled completely redesigned iPod nano, iTunes® 10 with Ping, new iPod touch®, and new redesigned iPod shuffle®, all of which are aimed at enhancing users experience in an extremely enjoyable way. Each of announced additions to Apple’s range definitely deserves to be reviewed, so below we post brief descriptions of the new products. For more information, go to www.Apple.com.

The first is ‘refreshed’ iPod nano. Nearly half the size and weight of the previous generation, it features a polished aluminum and glass enclosure with a built-in clip. The new iPod nano features Genius Mixes, the ability to create and edit playlists with a tap or swipe of your finger on the display, a built-in FM radio with live pause and up to 24 hours of music playback on a single battery charge. iPod nano also features Shake® to Shuffle™, giving music lovers the ability to shake iPod nano to shuffle to a new song in your music library, and a built-in pedometer that makes it easy to track steps, giving you the ability to track runs and workouts.

Then iTunes Ping goes. This service lets you post your thoughts and opinions, your favorite albums and songs, the music you’ve downloaded from iTunes, plus view concert listings and tell friends which concerts you plan to attend. Ping also lets you follow favorite artists to see what they’re up to, check out photos and videos they’ve posted, see their tour dates, etc. Ping’s Recent Activity feed shows your friends posts about artists, albums, songs and concerts, plus a consolidated Top 10 list of the songs and albums friends and the artists you follow are downloading from iTunes. With iTunes 10, you can rent your favorite HD TV shows commercial free and watch them at home or on the go for just 99 cents an episode. The iTunes Store® has a catalog of over 14 million songs, over 65,000 TV episodes and over 10,000 movies including over 3,000 in stunning high definition video.
