The answer is, they specialize and must know everything about…water, its origin and nuances of its taste. The experts of this field joined their efforts to present a photography book dubbed ‘Realms of Water’ (‘A journey of understanding to the sources of natural mineral water’). It is a joint project by Editions Textuel and Nestlé Waters International who sponsored the initiative.

It’s good that during the holiday season brands are not only trying to attract more consumers and push more sales, but also provide real care to the ones who cannot take care of themselves—homeless cats and dogs. This is what made Swiffer®, a brand from P&G’s portfolio, to sponsor Macy’s Union Square 24th Annual Holiday Pet Adoption Windows. This campaign is aimed at helping local homeless pets find shelter and home just in time for the holidays. This is the first year the cleaning products producer will be sponsoring the Macy’s Holiday Pet Adoption Windows—the event that runs from November 19 through January 2.

As part of its ‘Magic of Christmas’ campaign, the world-renowned confectionery brand Ferrero erected the 11ft Christmas tree adorned with 10,000  individually wrapped chocolates. This mouth-watering tree was designed by food artist Prudence Staite and installed in Covent Garden on November 25. Without a doubt, it is the biggest edible Christmas tree ever produced in the UK.

adidas, the world’s leading manufacturer of top class sport and casual clothing, revealed their Spring/Summer 2011 collection of footwear and denim clothes. The brand invited representatives of mass media and urged them to keep the place, date as well as any names a secret until the official announcement of the event comes out.

Not so long ago Nespresso presented a series of tongue-in-cheek TV adverts with George Clooney and John Malkovich starring, and it already has more sophisticated and delightful things in store to please its consumers.

This time, the brand launched Nespresso N-Art campaign aimed at collaborating with modern artists to find innovative and inspiring ways for brand promotion. As part of this campaign, Nespresso invited Indian avant-gardist fashion designer Manish Arora to decorate its brand flagship store on Champs Elysees in Paris.

Earlier this year, Volkswagen in cooperation with one of the world leading advertising agencies DDB Stockholm named  the winner of the Fun Theory Contest initiated by VW.  A US citizen Kevin Richardsson that came up with the idea of  «Speed Camera Lottery» was selected an author of the best suggestion. His idea uses the speeding cameras at intersections to track down the speeders that will be fined and rewards those who obey the speed limit with the money paid by the speeders.

Twitter, the pioneer of microblogging, started inviting the groups of users for testing its brand new service that offers analytics pertaining to the activity of users and popularity of tweets, reports Mashable.com. Ealier this year Twitter’s CEO announced the product would be launched at the end of 2010. So far the tool is available to the limited number of users.
