Ferrero Plants Giant Edible Christmas Tree in London

As part of its ‘Magic of Christmas’ campaign, the world-renowned confectionery brand Ferrero erected the 11ft Christmas tree adorned with 10,000  individually wrapped chocolates. This mouth-watering tree was designed by food artist Prudence Staite and installed in Covent Garden on November 25. Without a doubt, it is the biggest edible Christmas tree ever produced in the UK.

More than that, Ferrero erected Christmas trees in many popular shopping centers across the country: Bullring in Birmingham, Trafford Centre in Manchester, Westfield in London, MetroCentre in Newcastle and Meadowhall in Sheffield.

The mentioned installations represent a part of Ferrero’s £5 million investment program as well as season-themed campaign. More than that,  in order to remind consumers that ‘Christmas isn’t Christmas without Ferrero’ the brand went online and launched a new hub at www.ferrero-range.co.uk to promote its boxed chocolate range. It also announced an e-card competition offering its customers to create and personalize e-cards and win prizes.

Ferrero UK Marketing Directo Mauro De Felip, said: «This is our biggest Christmas campaign to date and we are excited to be able to tie this in with the launch of the new Ferrero range website – it’s the ultimate festive spectacular».
