Bombay Sapphire Imagination Bar at Summer Camp V&A Friday Late

This summer, Bombay Sapphire, the iconic London Dry Gin, is offering V&A Friday Late visitors a unique experience infused with imagination as part of its ongoing eponymous campaign «Infused with Imagination», launched by the brand in April 2011.

From its beginnings, Bombay Sapphire has broken with the conventions of gin through the power of imagination— from its innovative recipe and unique distillation process to its statement blue bottle and new cocktail creations. Following this re-imagination of gin Bombay Sapphire will be unveiling the Bombay Sapphire Imagination Bar and creative cocktail menu at the V&A Summer Camp Friday Lates, a series of evenings celebrating innovation and design.

The Bombay Sapphire Imagination Bar has been designed to intrigue and inspire visitors of the V&A and will be situated in the museum’s John Madejki garden. From a distance the bar appears Victorian in style with wood features and beautifully etched mirrors, however all is not what it seems. As guests draw closer they will see that the front of the bar is actually a trick of light and the panels start to deconstruct. From this unexpected facade, expert mixologists will create imaginative summer cocktails for guests to explore.

The V&A Summer Camp has spanned three Friday Late events with the final taking place on 30 September and offers the chance for Museum visitors to learn new skills, take part in master classes, workshops, games and talks for free. The V&A has collaborated with top UK design talents to present activities exploring three different themes; Idea, Design and Make.
