As part of its Imagination Series, Bombay Sapphire is launching the Bombay Sapphire Series, an exclusive range of events in collaboration with the leading creatives in the UK.
The first event in the series is a literary evening with London’s literary nightclub, Book Slam on August 4. The ‘infused with imagination’ gin brand will fuse the room with improvised readings, performance and music from well-known and up-coming poets and writers. The inspirational cocktails will accompany the event and ‘a re-imagined evening with a difference’ is promised, says Bloodsweatandfashion.
Book Slam regularly featured bestselling authors and rising talent through performance in different and creative forms, from poetry, stories and comedy to live music. Previous authors and artist that participated in Book Slam’s monthly events include Nick Horby, Irvine Welsh, Plan B, Kate Nash, Jamie Woon and Adele.
The party will take inspiration from Bombay Sapphire’s brand story. Book Slam will be presenting a modern day Gin Palace theme, which historically housed famous poets and authors who would converse on the world of literature whilst enjoying drinks.
Details are kept in secret and will be unveiled to guests on arrival. The guest will be served a bespoke Bombay Sapphire Twisted Gin & Juice cocktails—a refreshing summer cocktail created with Bombay Sapphire, cloudy apple juice, elder flower and mint infusion. Classic Bombay Sapphire cocktails—the Bombay Sapphire Collins, Bombay Bramble and Bombay Sapphire Ultimate G&T —will also be available throughout the night.
Whilst having a tipple at the imaginative Bombay Sapphire bar guests will enjoy performances combining both old and new poetry world. A specially-written story or poem inspired by the history of Bombay Sapphire as well as DJ and musical acts will feature the program. Details on the evening are available on Bombay Sapphire’s Facebook.
The Imagination Series is a project running through August in UK and the second event in the series will take place on August 18. This will be a theatrical gastronomy infused evening with the renowned Rebel Dining Society, giants of creative and interactive tasting experiences. In June Bombay Sapphire astonished Londoners with a 3D projection.
