British Airways Is Ready for the Olympics 2012

British Airways, the official airline partner of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, has announced it is ready for the 2012 Olympics in London. To prove its readiness, the company has launched a video spot called ‘The Race’.

The TV ad, first launched on Facebook and Google+, shows how the passenger’s luggage is transported to different races, while a cute little girl comfortably flies with her mum with British Airways. The girl catches her British-styled bag as it arrives to the arrivals hall first among other bags. The ad highlights the high quality of the carrier in a light and easy way. An additional behind-the-scenes video provides viewers with some information on people who created it.

The other elements of the campaign also include print and digital advertising that point out the statistics relating to British Airways staff and systems. The campaign’s slogan sounds like’2012. We’re ready. To Fly. To Serve’. The campaign is targeting thousands of people who will travel to London to see the Games this summer.

Abigail Comber, British Airways’ head of brands and marketing, said: «This campaign builds on our ‘To Fly. To Serve.’ promise. We have an amazing team at British Airways who work to deliver hundreds of flights a day, all over the world.»

Today, British Airways has also confirmed the Torchbearers & street route for the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay. The map shows street information and approximate start times for how the Olympic Torch will travel the particular place.
