Coca-Cola Israel Opened a Pop-up Store with Goods Made from Recycled Containers

Coca-Cola, which has launched numerous projects revolving around recycling (the latest initiatives include the launch of cardboard racks and new collection of rPET tee-shirts) ‘gives it back’ in Israel with a fashion twist. This month, the brand has opened a pop-up store, where it sells beautiful apparel and furniture made using recycled bottles and cans of the iconic fizzy drink.

The venue, which was opened in Tel Aviv during the Passover holiday, offers the huge ‘Coca-Cola Recycled Collection’ that includes vibrant and trendy apparel and accessories (shirts, jewelry, handbags), which was created from recycled materials, as well as awesome chairs and sofas for home. To get the items, consumers have to give an empty Coca-Cola container plus little money—as it proves, recycling can really reward.

In addition to this, visitors to the store can learn more about the benefits of recycling and watch how the bottles and cans they have brought can be used for making something nice. Information stations all around the space educated consumers on the benefits of recycling and explaining the method for manufacturing bottles. The concept, construction and production of the project was developed by Promarket Israel, which last year helped the brand to open the ‘integrated’ Coca-Cola summer camp for teens and encouraged Israeli youth to be spontaneous with Fanta.
