The after-party events were arranged in September and October 2010, taking the sounds of British dance music to American fans in Los Angeles, Seattle, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and Atlanta. The recognized UK producer Jamie xx (Jamie Smith of the Mercury Prize winning group The xx) tapped the other artists to perform during the ‘Live from London’ events sponsored by Converse and the Fader magazine (which also collaborated with Levi’s). The music series also featured Fantastic Mr. Fox, Cooly G, Untold and Dusk & Blackdown, who performed for the US fans of dubstep, garage and funky music styles.

Last fall, The xx played a sort of farewell for now tour, taking along friends and family along with a few DJs in order to have a proper dance club night after each show. Jamie xx DJ’d every show, along with Fantastic Mr Fox. For a feel of what it’s like to be an Englishman floating around the US with only your records to remind you of home,” states The Fader, the magazine.
