P&G-owned brands Crest and Oral-B announced the ‘4th Cleaner Crusade’, a cross-country campaign aimed at educating Americans about the danger of dental plaque and ways to prevent it. The experts at P&G have studied the statistics on the dental health of American people and suggested their solution to improve the situation. They pledge to help people spot this problem and provide expert advice where it’s needed most.
As part of their journey, the campaign initiators will visit St. Louis, MO and Philadelphia, PA—the two US cities whose population has the worst dental health statistics in America. They will offer all those concerned about their dental hygiene to scan the dental plaque using the high-tech equipment (through a digital plaque imaging system) and receive a free consultation from a dental health expert.
According to P&G, the key steps to achieve dental health include using Oral-B toothbrushes along with Crest product line-up since this pairing will provide a four times better plaque reduction than the other means of dental care. Aside from this, Crucade members state that keeping a balanced diet and consulting a dentist on a regular basis are two more essential points of the strategy.
