Dewar’s and Freemans Sporting Club Unveil a Holiday Travel Roll

The Dewar’s blended Scotch whisky brand has collaborated with Freemans Sporting Club to create a special holiday kit, which embodies the brands’ style and attitude to true of male symbols. The whisky brand approached FSC to create a kit just for upcoming winter holidays 2012—the finished product is a great 6-pocket bag, handmade in NYC, which includes a range of travel essentials.

The new kit, which is already available for $150 USD from FSC’s web shop, “a limited-edition Travel Roll, designed by FSC as a modern take on the vintage utility roll used by Tommy Dewar to carry his father’s whisky around the world.” The roll is made of water repellent waxed canvas and leather straps hand-cut from English bridle leather, which provides an authentic feel to the product. The bag, which has Dewar’s signature Highlander Tartan fabric lining can serve as “a dopp kit, a tool kit, or a knife roll for the accomplished chef,” writes FSC.

The kit also contains a Dewar’s flask, which can get a personalized monogramming for additional $15, but has no alcohol in it. The bag can be attached on the front of a bicycle, so that you can always be sure the essentials packed in the Dewar’s container are always with you during the journey.
