Tom Shuttleworth Is Appointed as Director of pi pop

Tom Shuttleworth was appointed as Director of pi pop, pi global’s in-store branding unit. pi pop is dedicated to ensuring that the visual expression and experience of the brand at purchase decision point, is optimized, with pack design and in-store theatre fully harmonized in one, powerful, holistic brand presence. Together with full prototyping services and global manufacturing capabilities, pi pop, working closely with pi’s other branding units, delivers seamless branding strategy, creation and management of in-store environments, providing real-world solutions focused on advantageously connecting our clients’ brands to consumers.

Tom joins the pi global team following a decade as Managing Director and founder of a point of purchase design and manufacturing business, supplying global markets from Australia. He cut his teeth in design as a retail display specialist across health and beauty, electronics, fashion and FMCG sectors for clients including L’Oreal, Nivea, Fosters Group, Cadbury, Hallmark and Canon digital cameras. Tom brings in-depth POP expertise spanning design ideation, prototyping, production and management of international procurement through to large scale global roll-out.

A qualified Industrial designer, Tom has, over his career, worked as a freelance toy designer for Lego (Denmark) and as a designer for office furniture and custom storage. Tom brings an innovative approach to client management and POP design and has focused on becoming a master in systems and processes, yet he remains hands on in design and manufacturing.
