The coffee brand Tchibo invites Internet users to grow a virtual coffee tree on the Tchibobean.ru website — registered users are given 5 beans to plant and then cultivate them to get more coffee. Like it is with other online games, for a better result the tree should be watered, fertilized and protected from moles.

By doing this, players score points of experience to get on the top-list. Twenty highest-rated players will be awarded packs with coffee sent to them by mail. You can get more points by completing mini-games (Jigsaw Puzzle, Memory and Gather Coffee) online or after installing them on a personal computer. Ten players with the biggest experience rating and 20,000 users, who will grow their threes faster than others, are to get prizes as well.

The game is promoted through “live” banners on websites for ladies (like Womanjournal.ru). When you drag the mouse to the watering can or the bag with fertilizers on the banner, the item «breaks free» and starts «pouring» the web-page. Green coffee trees emerge on the spots, where water drops or fertilizer have just fallen.
