Harley-Davidson Celebrates Female Riders: Your Life. Your Choice. Your Ride.

The Harley-Davidson brand, which has been associated rather with male brutality than female charm, is launching an initiative dedicated to women. The motorbike manufacturer is inviting us to get a deeper insight into the world of female bikers by reading real stories submitted to the Buzz Wall by women from all around the world, who are telling their riding stories.

Women who ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles—and those who are passionate about learning—have amazing stories of empowerment to share. The Buzz Wall showcases these stories and amplifies their voices in the hopes of inspiring others to take life by the handlebars,» commented Amanda Lee, Manager of Public Relations Outreach for Harley-Davidson.

The new interactive wall, which has been launched as part of the brand’s ‘No Doubts. No Cages.’ campaign and will be available through June 15, invites female rides from around the world to submit their own thoughts and inspirations revolving around the theme. There are two ways to get your story or ‘riding’ wish featured on the Buzz Wall, which will on—you can either use the Twitter hashtag #harleywomen to share it or upload it to the Women Riding Stories section on Harley-Davidson’s website. The online hub also provides video content from the Harley-Davidson ‘My Time to Ride’ series, information for those who those want to start learning to ride, tips on buying the right bike as well as details about upcoming women riders events. With all this, the brand is encouraging women to “grab life by the handlebars” and celebrate Women Riders Month that starts with International Female Ride Day on May 4 on a bike.
