Hennessy introduced Hennessy Black brand in the United States after almost 50 years of new product introduction silence. On 6 June, the brand celebrated its one year anniversary in NYC. With position as a nightlife drink, Hennessy Black supported its image celebrating together with one of the most sought-after deejay in the world DJ Cassidy, who became 30.

Star-studded event included sounds from some of the biggest musical talents including Hennessy Black DJ Samantha Ronson, Q-Tip, a performance by Swizz Beatz, and a surprise reunion show by New Edition, led by front man, Bobby Brown. Celebrity guests included Carmelo Anthony, Kristie Alley, Russell Simmons, Adrienne Bailon just to name a few.
