TACORI, the legendary fine jewellery designer known for exquisite platinum and diamond rings, has partnered with Holition, to create its first augmented reality application in America and the ultimate ‘try it on’ customer experience. The latest development in augmented reality technology is being unveiled during an exclusive three day launch event for the colourful new Tacori 18k925 Collection at the Bloomingdale’s Flagship 59th Street store in New York.
Holition, the international leader in 3D and augmented reality solutions for retail has partnered with Tacori to launch the ‘Try It On’ experience via an interactive large scale video screen with multi-touch technology in the shopping capital of the world. Exclusive for three days only, December 10-12, the augmented reality application transforms the customer experience as they can virtually ‘try on’ TACORI’s jewels from the new collection in real-time, without even having to open a jewellery case.
Holition’s application for TACORI includes an in-built sharing capability, so that consumers can share the experience with their nearest and dearest. Shoppers can take snapshots of themselves virtually wearing items from the Tacori 18k925 Collection and share the photo via email, Facebook and Twitter.
Every Bloomingdale’s client who tries on a Tacori 18k925 item—either in person at the Fine Jewelry counter, or virtually at the TACORI ‘Try It On’ Installation on the Third Floor—will be eligible to enter a contest to win a Tacori 18k925 Color Medley necklace valued at $410. There will be a daily winner for each day of the TACORI ‘Try It On’ Event: December 10, 11 and 12. Additionally, for every Tacori 18k925 item purchase made during this three day Launch Event, Bloomingdale’s is offering a $50 gift card.
