Now in its 54th year and representing over 35 different countries the TV & Film Awards recognise the “World’s Best Work” in a number of categories including documentary, news, infomercials, promotion spots and entertainment.

Radley Yeldar was awarded a World Gold Medal for its three-minute animated film entitled ‘An Introduction To RY’. Drawing together animation and rich video content the short film tells the story of Radley Yeldar and how effective communication happens.

Dean Beswick, Head of Moving Image, Radley Yeldar comments, “We are really proud of this film. We brought our ‘trademark’ doodle-type illustrations to life and created an engaging and inspiring film that tells our story and captures the unique personality and ethos of Radley Yeldar. Winning the Gold Medal is a great achievement for the team.”

Radley Yeldar picked up a second Gold World Medal for its work with the Parliament’s Education Service with a film entitled ‘The General Election Xplained’.

Commissioned only four weeks before the general election in 2010 Radley Yeldar were tasked with creating a film that would explain the election process, meet the needs of the school curriculum and engage an audience of 11 to 18 year olds.

The film which has been hugely successful has since been distributed via online and DVD to schools throughout the UK.
