Fiat has launched the first 2012 Fiat 500 commercial featuring Jennifer Lopez. The pop-diva has voiced-over the video titled ‘My World’. In the video she drives the car through the streets of Manhattan to the Bronx where she grew up. Jennifer Lopez shares her personal point of view on life in the New York City and how it inspires her to be tougher, to stay sharper and to think faster.
The new video demonstrates the new 2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio’s technology and design. Following the original Cinquecento that Fiat started to promote in the US in August this car features a dual-layer power-operated cloth top for more driving pleasure during the warm season. Earlier this fall, Fiat also presented the model of 500c designed by Gucci on the European markets.
The Fiat 500c offers «a multitude of safety features, fuel efficiency, world-class quality and advanced technology», says the official press release. «Its body-side silhouette design provides 70 percent less header shake then key competitors»—claims the automaker—thus delivering leading interior sound quality.
Accompanied by the song ‘Until It Beats No More’ from Lopez’s new album, ‘Love?’ the video spot started airing on national broadcast and cable networks on October 10. The commercial was created in partnership with Doner of Detroit. A 60-second and a 30-second version of ‘My World’ can be also viewed at the Fiat’s Facebook page.

There will be more Fiat ads with Jennifer Lopez. Last month the company signed a deal with the singer to place the 2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio in Lopez’s new music video, ‘Papi,’ as well as a 30-second trailer of the video, featuring the vehicle which aired on local and national broadcast networks.
