Kia Soul Asks «Who’s Next!» on YouTube

Kia Soul US is encouraging social media fans to become the next big stars on YouTube and win good money from the car manufacturer. Through its new contest «Who’s Next!», the auto brand is inviting every US resident of 18 years or older to upload their unconventional videos to the official YouTube channel of Kia or via Facebook for a chance to become the new viral-maker champion.

Kia sets no strict limits for what kind of video this should be and what it will be about, the main requirement is that it should be viral and, according to the presenters in the promotional video, it should be an example of “a new way to roll”. The uploaded spots should be primarily in English and run longer than 60 seconds. The deadline for uploading the spots is August 8, with the submission period started on July 26. The grand prize winner, which is to selected by the judging panel and then the voting public, will get it all—the global fame, $10,000 and an invitation to visit Los Angeles.
