Created by Tribal DDB Amsterdam, the interactive platform gives users an opportunity to get the practical information about KLM’s product and services.

Once a visitor to KLM.com searches for information, the platform offers him or her a ‘journey of inspiration’ before departure. With help of the platform, users can get a preview of onboard services including meal, a peek behind the scenes, and more background information on KLM and its history. For example, the platform features a video interview with Marcel Wanders, the iconic designer who created the designs for KLM’s Business Class tableware.

The platform uses HTML5 and a digital asset management system, which means that the current number of more than 20 videos and interactive elements can be easily expanded. Due to the technology KLM can reuse the content within the website and in mobile apps. The platform supports no fewer than sixteen languages and is suitable for different types of browsers. All the information can than be shared with friends through social media.

In November, KLM offered its customers exclusive limited-edition Heineken cans on board.
