Levi’s has added another project to the list of its music activities. The most popular of them, Levi’s Pioneer Sessions and Levi’s x The Fader Fort, are now followed by the brand’s collaboration with Urban Outfitters. The new initiative, Secret Generated Series, is made up of two free concerts at top secret locations in Chicago and Boston, slated for late September and early October.
The venue, where the concert is to be held, is announced shortly before the event, while the names of the bands, Deerhunter and Neon Indian, were unveiled at the very start of the project. The first of the concerts featuring Deerhunter was arranged in Chicago on September 25, with Neon Indian coming to Boston on October 3.
The fans are given a chance to get a free ticket to the concert and demonstrate how well they know their own city—taking the clue photos as the starting point, they are to guess the spot where the event will take place. They have three photo hints (from the video footage of the top secret venue), which are posted one after another on the blog. Levi’s and Urban Outfitters invite fans to submit their surmises to Facebook. So far, the brands added two hints, with the final one to be unveiled soon on www.blog.urbanoutfitters.com.
