Louis Vuitton Changes Madonna for Lara Stone

Louis Vuitton is discarding Madonna and hires a fashion top-model Lara Stone to represent the luxury brand. The Dutch 25-year-old beauty, who has worked for campaigns of Calvin Klein, H&M, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hugo Boss, Cavalli, Max Mara, and Givenchy among others, appears on the cover of the new British Vogue.

The pop-queen Madonna will be replaced by a half younger girl because the company wants something fresh and new, and the music star is obviously leaving these niches for something more mature. «Because the collection loosely took its cues from the idea of the New Age traveler, we decided to create a green, outdoorsy set that would evoke a spirit of peace and love,» Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs noted to Vogue UK. «To model the clothes, we wanted a modern, iconic, sexy beauty… It had to be Lara Stone

The new ad campaign will feature the model on a bed of moss and ferns surrounded by doves. The photos will be available to see in February. They have been made by a famous photographer Steven Meisel, whole portfolio include works for Versace, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein. He also took a great deal of photos for various occasions with Madonna posing, and now he is switched to youth.
