Louis Vuitton Promotes Its Upcoming City Guide 2011 with the Educational Spots

Louis Vuitton, the brand which knows everything about traveling in comfort, is going to release its Louis Vuitton City Guide 2011 on October 15. Ahead of the launch, it presents lovely films dedicated to the three magnificent capitals of the world—Berlin, Paris and New York.

The new short spots, directed by Romain Chassaing, are highlighting the most interesting details from the cities’ history, architecture and cooking traditions. The videos, which can be watched either in English or French, are developed with the use of the slow-motion technology. The voice over tells about the architecture of Berlin, explains why NYC was nicknamed after apples and unveils the story behind the mouth-watering Parisian delicacy, the Saint-Honoré pastry.

The brand with a rich experience in making luxury traveling accessories, released the first set of city guide books over a decade ago, in 1998, and since that time, each fall Louis Vuitton presents new stylish editions for the upcoming year, which feature new tips, addresses, colorful illustrations, maps and other things that might be helpful for the traveler. According to luxuo.com, the 2011 European edition include seven new cities with Oxford and Porto Cervo among them. The brown covers of the books, which reflect LV’s signature style, also feature bright elements in Pistachio Green, Rosewood and Magenta and other colors.

The last year’s set of LV city guides touched on the major capitals of the world including Athens, Berlin, Istanbul, London, Moscow, Paris, Malaga and Tel Aviv and more. The previous edition was released on October 15 as well.
