In a week, on November 17, Sotheby’s and Louis Vuitton are arranging a great charity auction of limited-edition Special Orders Vuitton pieces in London. The event is organized to mark the fashion houses’ 150 anniversary. The revenues from selling gorgeous carrying cases will go to the Red Cross.
There are only six marvelous suit-cases to be sold for the benefit of Red Cross. Each of them was designed by Patrick-Louis Vuitton and celebrities from the art world (Annie Leibovitz, Marc Jacobs, Damien Hirst, Ferran Adrià, Gustavo Santaolalla). There will be a special item as well: a Red Cross medical kit trunk (photo) with white and red boxes for emergency supplies.
