According to the Swedish retailer, the line will fuse “conceptual and timeless style” and H&M’s “democratic fashion” available for everybody. The collaboration result will be sold around 230 branches worldwide as well as online at “the best price”.

“We are very happy to present Maison Martin Margiela pieces with H&M, offering a new interpretation of our vision. The democracy of our fashion has always been at the centre of our creativity, and the collaboration with H&M allows us to push this instinct further. We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all,” said Martin Margiela’s spokesperson in a statement.

Conceptual black and white videos demonstrate the sketches of what to expect in the new range—unconventional clothes with modified shapes and signature Margiela’s style for both men and women.

H&M has quite a long history of collaboration with big names in the design sphere and celebrities including Anna Dello Russo, David Beckham, Marni and others.
