On the threshold of Euro 2012, Nike’s Football division has launched a new campaign called ‘My Time is Now.’ ‘Don’t tell me I have potential’ says the slogan of the campaign that features a global roster of the world’s best players and targets young ambitious players and fans.

The Nike Football brand campaign features extensive digital, out-of-home and print execution but it is mainly focused on the 3-minutes film in which elite players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Andres Iniesta, Danny Welbeck etc and young footballers rush headlong to hit the ball. The rocky film is interactive and in the end viewers are suggested to search for ‘hidden tunnels’ in the video to view the athletes’ insights about their hunger to succeed. The campaign also promotes the Nike Clash Collection of boots worn by elite players that will be available starting June 6.

“Young players will stop at nothing to prove they’re good enough to play with the best in the game,” said Carlos Homedes, Nike, Global Football Marketing Director. “Their hunger and impatience to take a chance is playfully apparent in the “My Time is Now” campaign . A new generation of players is taking their chance and this summer will mark an exciting time as they burst onto the scene in Poland and Ukraine.”
Currently, Nike is also searching for the best global young talent within ‘The Chance’ initiative that was launched by the iconic player Pep Guardiola. The best 100 players will take part in global finals at FC Barcelona’s famed youth academy.
