Red Bull’s Beat Suite Tweets App Transforms Written Phrases into Music

Red Bull together with agency Tequila Sydney has launched an interesting project called Beat Suite Tweets. A special online program analyzes the sentiment of your tweets and produces an appropriate sound bite suggesting different styles and instruments. Created mini soundclips can be shared in social media.

Earlier in May, Red Bull gathered DJs, an orchestra, and beatmakers in Melbourne for a one night collaborative music experiment during which various music genres were blended  to be played like a live mixtape. The concert was held on May 12 in Melbourne. Aloe Blacc, 3 beat makers, 2 turntablists, 1 bassist, 1 percussionist and 15 members of the Australian Youth Orchestra performed on stage together to create a brand new experience. The compositions performed were exclusively written by renowned composer Tamil Rogeon.

Beat Suite Tweets analyzes the sentiment of what you’ve written, picks up the key words and depending on its mood and sentence structure produces a fitting beat sampled from this concert.

Red Bull is known for its devotion to music. Its famous Music Academy travels the world annually to provide musicians with exclusive workshops. This year the Academy visits New York City.
