Nike has developed a great campaign for Londoners. The sportswear brand is inviting active people to take part in the ‘Nike Grid‘ interactive street game. The aim of the event is to engage urban residents in a sport quest, which will take 24 hours and cover the whole city.
The competition kicks off on April 23 at 8pm., and those who want to take part in the event are to read the rules on the Facebook fan-page and register at the Nike Grid website. The city is divided into 40 postcodes zones, and the participants must run from one spot to another within the zone. The more routes they run, the more points they score.
The participants tell their names and age while registering, and they are to dial a special number from the Grid booth before and after each run within their grid. They also can steal others’ postcodes to gain more points.
The Nike Grid campaign was devised by Wieden+Kennedy London, AKQA and Mindshare.
