Nissan launches new ad campaigns promoting the new Pathfinder SUV and Sentra sedan and following the steps of the 2013 Altima ‘Wouldn’t it be Cool’ campaign.
Pathfinder campaign features three TV spots focusing on vehicle features and capability. It includes a 60-second ad, ‘Follow Me,’ touting the model as an ideal vehicle for a family vacation in unpredictable conditions.
The ‘Birds’ commercial touts the vehicle’s ability to offer a bird’s-eye view of the car and objects immediately surrounding it to easily park it. And the third, ‘Show and Tell’ shows a school boy who tells his classmates about the vacation spent with parents traveling in their Pathfinder.
The ads for the Sentra feature a ‘Wouldn’t it be Cool’ spot voiced by Robert Downey, Jr., and another ad ‘Executive Carpool’ highlights the vehicle’s impressive design and features.
Jon Brancheau, VP marketing at Nissan North America said to Marketing Daily that research has shown that the ‘Wouldn’t it be Cool’ campaign resonates. “We have landed on a formula that is really relevant,” he said.
Brancheau added that Nissan measures ads with Ace Metrics which allows to see whether consumers see Nissan as an innovative brand and helps the company to “gauge effectiveness.”
