Nokia and ELLE announced mutual search for the Style Correspondent to celebrate the release of the new pink Nokia N8, with its high quality 12 megapixel camera to capture the most stylish moments of life, according to www.conversations.nokia.com.

The contest welcomes professional or new style bloggers, who can create their own competition profiles on Nokia’s Facebook site and engage in conversations and comments. 50 semifinalists, who will be chosen to create their own style portfolios, will also receive a pack of supporting materials, including a pink Nokia N8. The competition will continue throughout the summer, after which eight finalists will be sent to report from the New York Fashion Week in September.

The lucky style reporting talents will get to see what happens behind the scenes of the NY fashion world by getting different assignments. Their reports will get on the blogs—with the help of Nokia N8, of course. Nokia and ELLE have also arranged meetings with style icons and fashion photographers, that is a prize by itself. The winner will get great job, becoming Nokia’s Style Correspondent and will be featured in January’s issue of ELLE.
