Porsche Design Sport, a collaboration of Porsche Design and adidas has unveiled Spring/Summer 2012 season’s collection entitled ‘Into the World’.

The new Porsche Design Sport Spring/Summer Collection presents products in the Driving, Running/Fitness, Golf and Water/Snow categories.

The stylish collection products are designed for sophisticated business travelers—they are easy to pack and comfortable to wear. The gear is made of a high performance stretch fabric that repels water and wicks moisture, while staying breathable and stimulating a cooling effect.

The items include the Hybrid Short, the Hybrid Polo, the Hybrid Jacket with detachable sleeves and the Light Cap made of a fast-drying material that pulls cool air in. The ensemble is completed with the Easy Trainer shoe, which weighs only 259 grams and combines high breathability, superior cushioning and a smooth ride.

Porsche Design Sport has been designing luxury sportswear for five years now. The Spring/Summer 2012 collection is inspired by the professional car racing theme. There is a special piece, the Racetrack Jacket that combines the classic lines of a biker jacket with a functional fabric that whisks away moisture, repels water and stains, and creates a cooling effect.

The collection also features the Driver’s Pant engineered with the same advanced fabric technologies and the short sleeve Pique Polo that provides UVP treatment and UV protection. The Drive Athletic II driving shoe is made of aniline leather with car-inspired ventilation inserts for superior airflow.

The collection will be available worldwide from January 2012 in Porsche Design  stores, adidas Concept stores, shop-in-shops, high-end department stores and exclusive retail outlets.
