Joining from creative agency, Proximity London, Cotton previously worked on the integrated Volkswagen account, delivering a range of new on- and offline customer relationship marketing campaigns. Prior to that she was responsible for delivering award-winning projects for the highly creative charity account, Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Cotton’s career began at creative hotshop Craik Jones in 2005, where she cut her teeth on one of the biggest DM accounts in the UK: Boots Advantage Card. Whilst there, she managed the strategic development and implementation of the brand’s targeted mailings and supplements. A high flyer, Cotton was promoted from graduate account executive to account manager within a year.

As senior account manager at Publicis Blueprint, Cotton will work directly into CEO, Geri Richards. Cotton will draw on her extensive customer-centric experience in the digital and offline space. Since winning the Cath Kidston account in 2008, Publicis Blueprint has produced a series of seasonal, content rich magazines and tactical publications for the brand, showcasing the vintage-inspired modern classics Cath Kidston has become famous for.

Geri Richards, CEO at Publicis Blueprint, commented: «We are thrilled with Jo’s appointment – she brings not only knowledge and experience to the position but also charm and a natural flair. Cath Kidston is a wonderful client to work for – each new publication we produce for the brand is well-crafted, sumptuous and incredibly effective, and we were delighted to pick up the Best Catalogue Award at the end of last year. From the moment Jo and I discussed the role I knew she could make it her own.”

Jo Cotton added: “It’s a joy to be joining such a great team and managing the account for an iconic name in both fashion and homeware. My love of creative campaigns and experience in creative customer communications and relationship management should prove invaluable as I make the move into the world of editorial content.”
