Having successfully re-launched the Apollinaris label, SOLUTIONS Branding & Design Companies AG has now also redesigned the crate for the premium table water. A clear emphasis was put on the crate’s use as a marketing tool.
In addition to conceptual work on the design, colour and finish as well as the 3D-CAD development, the focus was on the overall presentation of the brand. Its potential can be seen at the POS: Through the stylish design and the outstanding structure of the supporting elements, the bottles visibly stand out from the casing and showcase the label – and thus the brand – in a completely new way.
But it is not only this effect that will attract the customer’s attention at the shops – the designers at SOLUTIONS have come up with an extra attraction to set the product apart from its competitors: When stacked, the wavy lines across the side of each crate create a homogenous branded block with a continuous wave of water.
Karel J. Golta, member of the board at SOLUTIONS and head of the 3D design department explains: “The consumer’s first contact with the product is crucial. Our design has created an integrated overall impression that supports recognition, adds more emotion and makes the brand even more accessible”.
Along with all of these aspects, this marketing-innovation also reflects The Coca-Cola Company’s sense of responsibility for the environment: The remarkably high percentage of recycled materials – more than 50 percent – is clear proof of the company’s commitment to sustainable action and preservation of natural resources.
