LVMH is launching the LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize, an international competition to discover and support the designers of tomorrow. The global luxury group will be offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young professionals in design—the winners will get guidance from fashion gurus and money to realize their full potential.

The fashion giant Louis Vuitton is a recognized traveling expert—on the annual basis, it releases its Louis Vuitton City Guide books to help people discover more about the cities they are going to visit or the cities where they already live. The printed guides traditionally include new revised addresses of stunning establishments, must-see hot spots, fine-food destinations and more. In addition, the brand offers people around the globe to get a sneak peek into the book by watching a short inspiring video dedicated to the city. The new series of spots for Louis Vuitton City Guides 2013 were shot by director Romain Chassaing, who managed to reveal the unique nature of each city’s in less than 3 minutes videos.

Louis Vuitton positions itself as a travelling expert and regularly releases new guide projects to help people who are going on a trip, either by describing the merits of various cities or by giving tips on how to get ready for the voyage. The brand has recently launched The Art of Packing interactive hub on its official website to provide people from all around the globe with valuable tips on packing.

Louis Vuitton is continuing the visual conversation, started with hilarious guide videos to support new guide books release, with an animated story about board games. The fashion giant has released a marvelous video dubbed ‘All Abroad Games’ to pay tribute to the games, which were traditionally played during the travelling before the era of laptops and iPads.

Hennessy infused its legendary cognac bottle design with automobile style. The brand has invited celebrated automotive artist Chris Bangle, who has been developing BMW, Fiat and Opel car designs for the last 30 years, to reimagined Hennessy Privilege bottle, which hasn’t changed since 1954. The ex-BMW design boss, who published his book titled Peter Teufel, A Tale of Car Design in 3 Parts earlier this year, is a recognized expert in the one of the most challenging design fields, the automotive industry, and so he was the perfect choice to guide the iconic bottle modernization project.
