In the full swing of its “We Are All Workers” campaign, launched this summer, Levi’s took up its much older initiative, Red for Life, and kicked off a series of concerts for women. The jeanswear brand teamed up with top female performers to launch Divas Rock, a concert tour across South Africa, aimed at raising awareness of HIV/AIDS and helping make positive changes in the communities through non-pressing education.

This summer was a busy one for Israeli teens with all the promotions arranged by Coca-Cola Company’s brands. One of them was The Coca-Cola Village, which featured a-la Facebook ‘likes’ and provided its young guests with an opportunity to spend several days in a fizzy beverage’s paradise, and another promo project, Fanta-driven one, Fclub, invited teen consumers to participate in a series of engaging, spontaneous and exciting events.

As a vibrant alternative to glamorous fashion weeks, this summer (July 7-8-9) the famous Street- and Urbanwear trade show Bread & Butter arranged a range of mind-blowing events featuring a plethora of brands, including Diesel, Boss Orange, Nike and Adidas. The first was probably the most active of them, inviting the guests of the shows to take part in its awesome activities. Diesel’s presence at the fair was mirroring—as you may have already guessed—its “Be stupid” theme, which underlies the latest campaigns of the brand.

Following Target’s example, Levi’s is putting models wearing its Curve ID jeans collection in the windows of a high rise building to promote this new range in Japan. The new system of jeans, developed by Levi’s, focuses on shape, not size, thus enabling female consumers select exactly what will be fitting their curved (or not very curved) bodies.

Durex encourages young creative minds from the UK to develop a new commercial, that will be focused on safer sex and reflect the mood and thoughts of Generation Y. The ultimate goal of the “Create the Next Ad” contest is to shoot a new promotional video in the same captivating style as the previous Durex spots to find the best words to communicate with the youth and convince them to make safer choices in their sex life.

Kia Motors America (KMA) caused quite a stir with its first-ever Super Bowl ad of 2011 Kia Sorento CUV, which featured a colorful cast of life-size children’s characters from YO GABBA GABBA!, the award-winning children’s television series and live tour. Building on the momentum and increased brand awareness generated by the 60-second spot, Kia has become the presenting sponsor of the YO GABBA GABBA! THERE’S A PARTY IN MY CITY! tour.
