Umbro provided seven artists with the opportunity to recreate their countries football crest and now they are giving the same chance to budding designers everywhere. In their line, the World Champions Collection, the company tasked the creators to come up with a unique idea for their homeland’s football crest in celebration of this summer of soccer.

Creative viewers to www.umbro.com/#/crestdesigner can log in and work away at their own masterpiece signifying the team that they represent. Users can upload their own artwork to be featured in the gallery or they can utilize all the tools available in Umbro’s Crest Designer to complete their work. The site provides submitters with an opportunity to view how the design will look on a shirt and also use their own design as a wallpaper for their iPhone.

The submissions are featured on the site as visitors log in via Facebook to vote on their personal favorites. The five most popular entries will win shirts smartly embroidered with their own personal design. So far, there are over 1,000 designs submitted and, Umbro hopes, yet more to be uploaded.
